Run for the Fallen 2012

On the weekend of August 18/19, 2012, we encouraged anyone, wherever they were, to go out and run/walk one mile for a fallen service member killed in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. Similar to our events from 2008 – 2011, we posted runs here, in order!, by state and country. If you didn’t see your event listed, please email contact [at] runforthefallen [dot] org with information about your run.

Last year, there were roughly 7,000 participants in 32 states and two countries, running a combined total of over 39,352 miles. This year, there were roughly 19,692 participants and 41,567 miles. Thank you to those who continue to honor and remember our service members, bringing people and communities together. Together, we Run for the Fallen.
