A CBS Evening News Story (with Katie Couric) on the lives of LCpl Jordan C. Haerter and Cpl Jonathan T. Yale that will be aired TONIGHT (10-13) with Katie Couric CBS Evening News if not, Wednesday (10-14).
Sadly, one of the Marines Jordan and Jonathan Yale saved, Cpl Nicholas George Xiarhos who joined up with 2/8, was killed in action 23, July 2009.
CBS News looked back into those file tapes and will do a follow-up story with an interview segment of Nick speaking alone.
