A friend of ours is producing a compelling, non-partisan feature film about Marines dealing with PTSD. They are on a tight deadline to complete the film, and they really need to obtain a small amount of raw video of Marines on the ground in Iraq or Afghanistan. If anyone has any leads, please contact Jessie Vogelson asap at: info [at] filmforthefallen [dot] com
Please feel free to ask any questions you may have about the film project. They may be sent to the above email address.

ROME, N.Y. – Nearly 300 runners and walkers joined together in Rome Sunday morning to honor area soldiers who lost their lives overseas. The second annual ‘Run for the Fallen’ is a local tie-in to the nationwide run that shares the same name.
The goal is to run one mile in honor of every service member killed from Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. Rome’s run paid tribute to eleven area servicemen, and touched a bit closer to home as five of them were killed within the last year.
“You think about it, you hear about it on TV, but when it gets into your family, it gets you. Then you start paying more attention and you become a part of that big family, this big family that comes together,” said run organizer Jeannine Olney.
Olney says she plans to hold this run every year.
