Run for the Fallen

The Wounded Warrior Directory is a directory of almost 6000 Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses where the veteran owner has a disability that occurred in the service to their country and deserves our support. On behalf of unemployed service disabled veterans who have taken it upon themselves to start their own businesses in order to provide for their families, please help us in this mission to promote and support Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. Fort Leavenworth, Kansas will host a Run For the Fallen event Aug 11, 2012 at 8AM
at the Resiliency Center located at 600 Thomas Avenue. Participants can walk
or run a 3 mile course on this historic post.

Last year’s inaugural event had 550 participants run a total of 1,731.5
miles to honor fallen service members.

This year, our goal is 600 participants and 2,000 miles logged.

This event is open to the public and will feature an open house to showcase
our Center of Valor and Remembrance. This wing of the Resiliency Center is a
dedicated space for Survivors to honor their fallen service member.
The event is free with refreshments available for all who come.
